The 61 member wineries of the Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley are mainly family-owned and operated and most have estate vineyards. The pride and the diversity of the people who live and work within this narrow, gentle geography are reflected in the special character of Dry Creek Valley grapes and wines.

The name "Kachina" represents god of good harvest and prosperity. We produce just 2500 cases per year. Our fruit comes from both selected Dry Creek Valley and our own Estate Vineyards that sit above the valley floor. Warm hot days and cool breezes in the evening provides for on of the best growing conditions in the world for our big and bold Cabernet Sauvignon. With such low production, we are able to have a very hands-on approach to our wine making and picking process. With the beginnings starting in our pesticide and sulphur free vineyard, we are able to pick the fruit when it is at perfect ripeness for our wines. We handpick by rows, not blocks. Please feel free to call us for a private wine tasting!
Varietals Produced: Cabernet Sauvignon | Chardonnay | Port | Zinfandel
We focus on Zinfandel & Cabernet Sauvignon from Dry Creek Valley and Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley, with an emphasis on single vineyard wines that show a distinct terroir. We believe that our small production techniques and relationships with growers allow us to make wines that are as individual and unique as the vineyards they were born from.
